Torgeir Fjeld

Head of the Ereignis Center, Fjeld is interested in research and creative acts on the intersection of technology, presencing, and the event of salvation. He has published academic studies on how our bodies are shaped by national sports, on a philosophy of life-experience grounded in psycho-analysis, and on the limits of perversion, and has taught at several world-class universities, including the University of Minnesota, Roehampton University, and the University of Gdańsk.

Sharif Abdunnur

A director, wrestler, and academic, Abdunnur is Chairperson of the Department of Mass Media and Communication at the University of Balamand, Lebanon. A strong believer in interdisciplinary and intercultural education and collaboration, he creates works that bridge cultural gaps and challenge accepted limits and norms. A sought-after speaker on cultural topics, Sharif has published articles and books in a variety of genres, and made films winning more than fifty international awards.

Wolfgang Schirmacher

Wolfgang Schirmacher is Professor and founder of the Philosophy Programme at the European Graduate School, Switzerland. A philosopher of technology in the tradition of Martin Heidegger, Arthur Schopenhauer and Friedrich Nietzsche, Schirmacher separates Artificial Intelligence (AI) from the affirmative Artificial Life in a quest to find techniques that enable us to live well.

Stefan Chazbijewicz

A film and theatre director, poet, and visual artist, Chazbijewicz has written and directed films and documentaries for the big screen and television, winning a host of awards. Chazbijewicz lectures and holds workshops on film and the creative arts. He is interested in forms that interrogate “the reality of salvation,” i.e. what we are after transformation. Chazbijewicz is based in Gdańsk and Warsaw, Poland.
