Seminar and Retreat
Invitation The Event Who we are

20-28 October, 2018
Reine, Lofoten, Norway

  • Join us for nine days of seminars, workshops and stimulation tailored to boost your ability to act, experience true freedom and live your life to the full.
  • Internationally acclaimed directors, coaches, scholars and writers come together to conduct seminars and workshops on storytelling, enactment and the art of living. Experience world class yoga and body reading classes and receive coaching geared to your specific situation.
  • We invite a very select group of motivated participants for film screenings, stunning performances by classical musicians, top cuisine with vegetarian options and this outstanding programme at an exceptional resort in scenic Norway for the 2018 Ereignis Seminar and Retreat between 20 and 28 October.

Our vision is to gather together an exclusive group of highly motivated participants for nine days at an exceptional resort in Norway to meet and share the insight of world class personalities from the world of philosophy and the arts, participate in workshops designed to boost our ability to act, experience freedom at its most profound, and to live our lives to the full. Our evening sessions combine relaxation and personal development: performance by classically trained, internationally renowned musicians, film screening, informal talks, and personal coaching geared to reignite the spark that is specific to each of us. The Ereignis Retreat provides you with the comfort necessary to focus fully on reconstituting the personality that you need: excellent meals with vegetarian options, distinctive accommodation in a natural environment that can take your breath away and transport between the nearest airport and the resort. All of this is included in our offer to a very limited number of participants.

We provide seminars, workshops and evening activities, as well as on-site coaching (only with our deluxe option).

The Ereignis Retreat provides you with a time away from the pressing demands of high tech culture — an occasion to put away your smart phone. This event takes place at a unique resort (opens in new window) in a protected area of Norway, where you will have intimate experiences of a part of nature that you not encountered before in an area rich with culture. The Ereignis Retreat carries forward the legacy of Norway's legendary philosopher Arne Næss, founder of the ecosophy movement.

Getting there: It is most convenient to fly to Oslo, Gardermoen, and then fly to Leknes (as of April 2018 it is necessary to take a connecting flight, as Widerøe does not fly directly from Oslo — be sure to check their website (opens in new window) for up-to-date flight information). When you book our deluxe option we will pick you up at the airport.
