Author Biography

Alice Mills, Federation University

Alice Mills is currently adjunct professor of literature at Federation University, Australia. Mills has enjoyed a long career of teaching literature and children's literature, with particular interests in myth and fantasy, psychoanalysis and Jungian theory. She has published a number of anthologies of children's literature and some short stories and poems as well as scholarly articles on literature and illustration, a book on Mervyn Peake and a couple of edited collections of essays. Her new anthology, The World Treasury of Myths and Legends, will be published this (northern hemisphere) autumn.
